Feed Mozambique - Help is needed

The name "Kurandza" is the word "to love" in Changana, the local language of the women in Mozambique.

Kurandza is currently campaigning to bring food, water, and agriculture solutions to a village in Mozambique, where they are experiencing a severe drought and hunger. Villagers are eating one meal a day and HIV+ mothers are continuing to nurse their babies despite the risk of passing on the virus because they don't want their babies to die of malnutrition.

Please help their campaign by contributing whatever you can. https://www.tilt.com/tilts/feedmozambique.

#FeedMozambique

Kurandza is a social enterprise that works to empower women in Africa (the majority of whom are HIV positive) through education, employment opportunities and health counseling. Their goal is to increase economic opportunity for women, helping them and their children to have a brighter future. In addition to receiving fair wages for their work, profits from sales go back to this community to fund development projects.

They began to sell jewelry and accessories made from capulana, a traditional cloth of Mozambique. Sales from these items allowed the women to not only pay for transportation to the hospital, but to also buy other basic household items, school books and uniforms for their children, and to start saving for their future.

Know that when you are purchasing these lovely handmade bags and bangles that you are giving the gift of life to these beautiful women and children!
